The group is led by CNES, the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales, France's national space agency and one of Europe's largest, alongside launch services provider Arianespace and launch vehicle manufacturer ArianeGroup, both based near Paris, the satellite operator Eutelsat, and a growing commercial sector including Exotrail, HyPrSpace and Infinite Orbits. France hosts Europe's own spaceport operations through Arianespace and is home to one of the continent's most established national space programs.
