Thales Alenia Space is a European spaceflight services joint venture between the French technology corporation Thales Group, which holds sixty seven percent, and the Italian defense conglomerate Leonardo, which holds thirty three percent. It forms one half of the Space Alliance alongside Telespazio, which is owned in the reverse proportion by Leonardo and Thales.
