A Russian crewed spacecraft family in continuous service since 1967, longer than any other crewed spacecraft design. It has ferried cosmonauts and, since the Space Shuttle's retirement in 2011, astronauts of other nations to and from the International Space Station.

Soyuz spans the 1991 handover: the spacecraft family was designed for and first flown under the Soviet space program from 1967; following the Soviet Union's December 1991 dissolution, Roscosmos (renamed from the Russian Federal Space Agency in 2015) continued to develop and fly Soyuz, and still does. This edge is kept and names the current/post-1991 operator; a new operated-by edge to soviet-space-program names the original one (lane w-repair-space-soviet-0830, board 3427 gap).
