Spacecraft designed to carry a human crew, from the earliest capsules through modern crew vehicles, excluding the space shuttle orbiters and space stations that get their own more specific groupings. Belongs here: any vehicle whose primary design purpose is carrying astronauts to orbit or beyond. Does not belong here: the reusable shuttle orbiters, grouped under Space Shuttle Orbiter, or orbital habitats a crew lives aboard rather than rides in, grouped under Space Station.
