Big Gemini was a spacecraft design that McDonnell Douglas proposed to NASA in August 1969 as an enlarged, higher-capacity version of the two-seat Gemini spacecraft system. It was pitched as an all-purpose vehicle intended to provide large-capacity access to space, including for missions that ultimately used Apollo or the Space Shuttle instead.
