Mir spans the 1991 handover: operated first under the Soviet space program from its 1986 launch, then by Russia's Roscosmos (renamed from the Russian Federal Space Agency in 2015) after the Soviet Union's December 1991 dissolution, through deorbit in 2001. This edge is kept and names the post-1991 operator; a new operated-by edge to soviet-space-program names the pre-1991 one (lane w-repair-space-soviet-0830, board 3427 gap).

Soyuz, Spacecraft

Soyuz spans the 1991 handover: the spacecraft family was designed for and first flown under the Soviet space program from 1967; following the Soviet Union's December 1991 dissolution, Roscosmos (renamed from the Russian Federal Space Agency in 2015) continued to develop and fly Soyuz, and still does. This edge is kept and names the current/post-1991 operator; a new operated-by edge to soviet-space-program names the original one (lane w-repair-space-soviet-0830, board 3427 gap).
