Unseenlabs is a French company based in Rennes, Brittany, founded in 2015 by the Galic brothers to provide space based radio frequency detection for maritime domain awareness. The company develops its detection technology entirely in house, both hardware and software, to detect, characterize and geolocate the passive electromagnetic signatures of ships, cooperative or not, across sea areas spanning hundreds of thousands of square kilometers. Unseenlabs owns and operates a constellation of 23 satellites and employs about 140 people, serving maritime companies and governments tracking illegal fishing and other unauthorized activity at sea.
