TsNIIMash, the Central Research Institute of Machine Building, is a Russian rocket and spacecraft research institute that serves as the principal analytical centre for the Russian state space corporation Roscosmos. It was established on 13 May 1946 and is headquartered in Korolyov, in Moscow Oblast, operating today as a federal state unitary enterprise. The institute conducts research spanning conceptual design through flight testing, including aeronautical load analysis, thermal resistance testing, spacecraft control and navigation algorithms, reliability assessment and the standardization of Russian aerospace products.
