HyPrSpace

HyPrSpace is a French rocket propulsion company founded in 2019 in Bordeaux, developing a hybrid propulsion system that burns solid HDPE fuel with cryogenic liquid oxygen. The company is building the suborbital Baguette One demonstrator, a ten metre single-stage launcher able to carry up to 300 kilograms, alongside a planned orbital Orbital Baguette-1 launcher, and has signed an agreement with France own defense procurement agency to fly the Baguette One demonstrator from a missile testing site in mainland France. HyPrSpace has raised 21 million euros in Series A funding and a further 35 million euros as part of a consortium including CT Ingenierie, SpaceDreamS and Telespazio France, sixty percent of it from the French government France 2030 program, to develop the Orbital Baguette One launcher.
