Hanwha Aerospace

Hanwha Aerospace is a South Korean aerospace and defence company headquartered in Seoul, tracing its roots to a company established in 1977 as Samsung Precision and later renamed Hanwha Techwin before adopting its current name as a subsidiary of Hanwha Group. Long known as the only gas turbine engine manufacturer in South Korea, the company also serves as a contractor on the national space program, working on rocket engines, satellites and launch vehicles alongside the Korea Aerospace Research Institute and the Agency for Defense Development.
