Chemical Automatics Design Bureau, also known as KB Khimavtomatiki or KBKhA, is a Russian rocket engine design bureau headquartered in Voronezh, founded in 1941 under the Peoples Commissariat of the Aircraft Industry and led by Semyon Kosberg until his death in 1965. Over its history the bureau has designed more than 60 liquid propellant rocket engines, of which about 30 entered production, along with a nuclear reactor for space use and the only operational nuclear rocket engine ever built in the USSR. In November 2019 the design bureau merged with the Voronezh Mechanical Plant.
