The eight IAU-recognized planets of the Solar System and the Sun itself, the star the whole system orbits. Belongs here: any body that has cleared its orbital neighborhood under the IAU 2006 definition of planet, plus the Sun as the systems central star. Does not belong here: bodies that share an orbit with other debris and have not cleared their neighborhood, which the IAU 2006 reclassification moved to Dwarf Planets, or any moon orbiting one of these planets, grouped under Moons.
