Legacy Aerospace and Defense Conglomerates

This group gathers diversified aerospace and defense companies whose space work is one part of a much larger business spanning aviation, defense electronics and government contracting, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris Technologies and their historical predecessor companies such as TRW and Rockwell International, together with federally funded research and development centers such as the Aerospace Corporation and Draper. It does not cover companies whose business is primarily or exclusively space related, which are grouped by their own sector instead.
