All NASA Mars Helicopters

Aircraft flown in the thin atmosphere of Mars by NASA, beginning with the Ingenuity technology demonstrator that travelled to Jezero crater with the Perseverance rover and made the first powered, controlled flight on another planet in April 2021. A craft belongs here when its cited source calls it a NASA helicopter flown or designed for Mars. Members are placed here from their own cited sources, so a reader can check why an entry sits in this group. The grouping forms part of the browse path for this section of the atlas.
