Blue Moon is a lunar lander developed by the American private company Blue Origin, designed in multiple variants to deliver cargo and, eventually, crew to the surface of the Moon. The smaller uncrewed Mark 1 variant is intended to demonstrate the lander systems and deliver cargo payloads to the lunar surface, while the larger Mark 2 variant has been selected by NASA to carry astronauts to the Moon as part of the Artemis program, competing alongside SpaceX Starship human landing system. Blue Origin first unveiled the Blue Moon lander program in 2019.
