Space-Based Observatories

A European Space Agency space telescope launched in 2023 to map the large-scale distribution of galaxies across roughly a third of the sky in visible and near-infrared light, aiming to probe the nature of dark matter and dark energy through how they shape cosmic structure. Its planned six-year survey is intended to chart billions of galaxies across most of the observable universe's history.
