Contec is a South Korean space ground infrastructure company headquartered in Daejeon, established in January 2015 as a spin-off of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute. The company designs and builds satellite ground stations and provides earth observation and synthetic aperture radar image processing and distribution services, operating a network that had grown to twelve ground stations across ten countries, beginning with its first station on Jeju Island, South Korea.
