Space BD

Space BD is a Japanese space business development company headquartered in Tokyo and founded in 2017, describing itself as a Space Trading Company providing one-stop services from business planning through engineering support for space utilization. The company brokers and integrates satellite launches on vehicles including SpaceX Falcon 9, India PSLV and Japan flagship rockets in collaboration with JAXA, arranges in-orbit demonstration opportunities aboard the International Space Station, and manages export, import and project management of space equipment and technology. As of January 2026 Space BD had supported more than 100 satellite missions and had raised a cumulative 6.68 billion yen through funding rounds including a Series C round exceeding 3.5 billion yen.
