Angkasa-X

Angkasa-X is a Malaysian satellite data company that positions itself as a diversified, made-in-Malaysia satellite data producer paired with its own analytics platform, aiming to compete with larger international geospatial satellite operators. Its first test satellite carries medium-resolution optical imaging and an Automatic Identification System payload for maritime surveillance, and the company has announced plans to launch six further satellites and to pursue an initial public offering in the United States. The company was presented publicly at the APSCC 2023 conference in Kuala Lumpur.
