Konstantin Feoktistov

Konstantin Feoktistov was a Soviet spacecraft engineer who helped design the Vostok and Voskhod spacecraft and later flew aboard the Voskhod 1 mission in October 1964 as a crew member, becoming one of the first spacecraft designers in history to fly aboard a vehicle he helped create. Voskhod 1 was also notable as the first spaceflight to carry more than one crew member, flying a three-person crew inside a cabin designed with no room for spacesuits.
