Spacecraft

The vehicles themselves, crewed and robotic, apart from launch vehicles, which now have their own band: probes, orbiters, landers, rovers, crewed spacecraft, stations and their kin, grouped by function rather than by the mission that flew them. This band owns a craft's own design and operational history; the mission it flew is a separate entity linked by relationship, and the underlying rocketry and propulsion engineering as a field in its own right belongs to Technology, this atlas keeping only the named vehicle itself.
