A pan-European low-frequency radio telescope built from thousands of simple antennas at stations spread across the Netherlands and partner countries including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Poland, Ireland, Latvia and Italy, their signals combined digitally rather than by physical dishes. Its distributed design makes it one of the largest radio telescopes ever built, used to study the early universe and transient radio phenomena.
