An array of thirty 45-meter dish antennas spread across rural Maharashtra, India, built by India's National Centre for Radio Astrophysics and operating at low radio frequencies used to study distant galaxies, pulsars and the early universe. It has been among the world's most powerful low-frequency radio telescopes since its completion in the 1990s.
