Dwarf Galaxies

Galaxies whose own Wikipedia articles cite a NED classification of dSph or dE, dwarf spheroidal or dwarf elliptical. This is a small, low-luminosity class kept distinct from the giant ellipticals of the main Hubble sequence: a dwarf spheroidal or dwarf elliptical galaxy has only a small fraction of the stars, mass and light output of a giant elliptical galaxy of type E, even though the two share a broadly similar smooth, featureless structure, as each member's own source article states when it gives the galaxy's classification.
