Big Bang Theory

Also Known As Big Bang
Cosmology and the Early Universe

The prevailing cosmological model describing the universe's expansion from an extremely hot, dense initial state roughly 13.8 billion years ago. It is supported by the observed redshift of distant galaxies, the cosmic microwave background radiation, and the relative abundance of light elements.
