3 Juno, generally known as Juno, is a large asteroid in the asteroid belt, the third asteroid ever discovered, found by the German astronomer Karl Harding in 1804. It is tied for the thirteenth-largest asteroid and is one of the two largest stony S-type asteroids, estimated to contain about one percent of the total mass of the asteroid belt.
