Joshua Kutryk

Joshua Kutryk is a Canadian test pilot, fighter pilot and engineer in the Royal Canadian Air Force, born March 21, 1982, in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, who was selected by the Canadian Space Agency in 2017 as part of the two-member 2017 CSA Group and simultaneously joined NASA Astronaut Group 22. As of the mid-2020s he has not yet flown to space, though on April 23, 2026, it was announced he would fly to the International Space Station aboard the SpaceX Crew-13 mission, targeted to launch no earlier than September 2026. He accumulated over 4,200 flying hours across more than 40 aircraft types and received the Liethen-Title Award in 2012 as top graduate of the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School, an honor previously given to fellow Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield in 1988.
