Xona Space Systems

Xona Space Systems is an American satellite navigation company headquartered in San Mateo, California, with additional offices in Vancouver, Canada and London, United Kingdom, founded in 2019 by a group of cofounders including Brian Manning who first met more than a decade earlier in Stanford University Aero Astro Department. The company is developing Pulsar, a planned constellation of low Earth orbit satellites intended to complement and back up the Global Positioning System by broadcasting a stronger, harder to jam positioning, navigation and timing signal from an orbit roughly 12,000 miles closer to Earth than GPS satellites, with an eventual planned constellation size of 258 satellites.
