Visiona Tecnologia Espacial

Visiona Tecnologia Espacial is a Brazilian space systems integration company founded in 2012 as a joint venture between Embraer Defense and Security and Telebras, with Embraer holding 51 percent of the share capital and Telebras holding the remainder. The company combines Embraer systems integration expertise with satellite integration knowledge accumulated at the National Institute for Space Research and plays a coordinating role in the Brazilian space industry; its flagship project is the Geostationary Defense and Strategic Communications satellite, a Ka and X band spacecraft built for Telebras and the Brazilian Ministry of Defense in partnership with the French company Thales Alenia Space, and it also designed VCUB1, described as the first Earth observation and data collection satellite designed by Brazilian industry.
