Team AngelicvM is a private aerospace company based in Santiago, Chile, founded in 2010 and focused on lunar exploration technology. The company develops small rovers intended for deployment on the Moon, its current vehicle being a five kilogram four wheeled rover called Unity, and it originally competed in the Google Lunar X Prize competition, which offered twenty million dollars for the first privately developed rover to land on the Moon, travel at least five hundred meters and transmit high definition video. The organization consists of about thirty four members, mostly volunteers and professionals, and is financed by the AngelicvM Foundation, whose owner and president Gerardo Rocha-Haardt had invested roughly three million dollars in the effort as of 2012.
