SWISSto12 is a Swiss satellite systems company founded in 2011 as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne by Emile de Rijk, Jean-Philippe Ansermet and Alessandro Macor, headquartered in Renens near Lausanne. The company supplies satellites and radio frequency systems to customers including Viasat, Inmarsat, Thales, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, and its flagship product, HummingSat, is described by the company as the world first commercial small satellite built for geostationary orbit.
