SpaceDev

Launch and Space Transportation Companies

SpaceDev, later part of the Space Systems Business of Sierra Nevada Corporation, was known for its spaceflight and microsatellite work. It designed and built components for the hybrid rocket motors used in Paul Allen Tier One suborbital SpaceShipOne program operated by Scaled Composites, and also developed micro and nano satellites and small expendable launch vehicles.
