Scanway is a Polish company headquartered in Wroclaw, founded in 2016 by Jedrzej Kowalewski and Mikolaj Podgorski to develop optical payloads and vision systems for the space and industrial sectors, including instruments for Earth observation, satellite self diagnostics and industrial quality control. The company placed its first equipment in space in March 2017, has supplied telescopes for the EagleEye and PIAST missions in collaboration with other Polish space organizations, worked on the ScanSAT project intended to be the first Polish Earth observation satellite, and in 2025 secured an order from the American company Intuitive Machines for a multispectral telescope instrument to map the surface of the Moon, alongside a separate agreement with the European Space Agency to build a multispectral data processing system for that lunar imagery.
