Ramon.Space

Ramon.Space is an Israeli company headquartered in Yokneam and Hod Hasharon that develops radiation resistant computing systems for spacecraft, founded in 2004 with roots in a 2002 Ministry of Defense project led by Technion professor Ran Ginosar, and named in tribute to astronaut Ilan Ramon, who died in the 2003 Columbia shuttle disaster. The company builds processors, storage and machine learning hardware designed to withstand the radiation of the space environment for satellite communications, Earth observation and in space data processing, and by the early 2020s its technology had been deployed on more than fifty space and deep space missions and satellites.
