Payload Aerospace S.L., known as PLD Space, is a Spanish company developing two partially reusable launch vehicles called Miura 1 and Miura 5. Miura 1 is a sounding rocket for suborbital flights carrying out research or technology development in a microgravity environment or the upper atmosphere, and it also serves as a technological demonstrator for the orbital launcher Miura 5, which is being designed to provide orbital launch capability for small payloads such as CubeSats that need a flexible, dedicated launch vehicle, delivering up to 900 kilograms into low Earth orbit.
