OroraTech

OroraTech is a German aerospace company headquartered in Munich, founded in 2018 as a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich, that provides wildfire monitoring using a network of around 35 thermal imaging satellites. The company integrates data from existing satellites with its own growing constellation to deliver global wildfire risk assessment, early detection, real time monitoring and damage analysis, monitoring roughly 160 million hectares of forest with updates as frequent as every hour, and it has opened a United States headquarters in Denver, Colorado to expand its wildfire detection service there.
