The North-Eastern Space Applications Centre, known as NESAC, is a regional space centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation established in September 2000 as a joint initiative of India Department of Space and the North Eastern Council, based in Shillong, to bring the benefits of space technology to India northeastern states.
