Nanoracks is an American private in-space services company headquartered in Houston, Texas, that builds space hardware and in-space repurposing tools, facilitates experiments, deploys CubeSats to low Earth orbit and operates laboratory facilities aboard the International Space Station. It was founded in 2009 by Jeffrey Manber and Charles Miller and was acquired by Voyager Technologies in May 2021. The company built the Nanoracks Bishop Airlock, launched to the International Space Station in December 2020 in partnership with Thales Alenia Space and Boeing, for deploying external payloads, and in 2022 it became the first company to cut a piece of metal in space. Nanoracks employs more than 100 people across offices in Houston, Washington D.C., Abu Dhabi and Turin, plus its laboratory space aboard the International Space Station.
