Muon Space

Muon Space is an American aerospace startup based in Silicon Valley, California, founded in 2021 to build a climate monitoring satellite constellation. The company launched the first satellite of its constellation, MuSat-1, on June 12, 2023, on a SpaceX Transporter-8 rideshare mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Muon Space also runs a program called Muon Halo, a service for customers who lack the expertise to develop spacecraft, handle data processing and manage ground networks, with its first payloads under that program expected to launch in 2025 and 2026.
