Morpheus Space

Morpheus Space is a German space mobility company launched in 2018 by six scientists from the Technical University of Dresden, building on their research into electric propulsion for small satellites. The company GO-2 electric propulsion thruster, based on field emission electric propulsion technology developed at the university, is paired with its Journey mission design and analysis software to help satellites maneuver in orbit. In July 2024 Morpheus Space opened a mass-production facility in Dresden intended to manufacture 100 GO-2 units a year, backed by a 28 million dollar Series A funding round that included investors Airbus Ventures and the NATO Innovation Fund-backed Alpine Space Ventures.
