Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace

Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace is a Norwegian defence contractor headquartered in the town of Kongsberg, operating as a division of Kongsberg Gruppen ASA, an industrial group majority owned by the Norwegian government whose engineering works trace back to 1814. The division develops and produces defence and space related systems and products, most notably anti ship missiles including the Penguin missile, military communications equipment, and command and weapons control systems for naval vessels and air defence applications, and it holds a ten percent ownership stake in the Andoya Space launch site.
