The Iranian Space Research Center is a research center and institute established by Iran's Ministry of Information and Communications Technology in 2000 to carry out research in space and to manufacture Iranian civil satellites and space rockets. Administrative oversight of the center was transferred to the office of the Iranian president in 2010 before later reverting to its original ministry. In March 2026, during the Iran war of that year, the center's headquarters in central Tehran was struck by Israel.
