Indian Deep Space Network

The Indian Deep Space Network, known as IDSN, is telemetry, tracking and command infrastructure operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation at Byalalu, about 60 kilometers from Bengaluru, Karnataka, on a roughly 120 acre campus. It was established on 17 October 2008 to support India first lunar mission, Chandrayaan-1, and its large antennas, including 32 meter, 18 meter and 11 meter arrays, communicate with spacecraft at lunar and interplanetary distances as part of a global tracking network that receives complementary support from NASA, China, Russia, the European Space Agency and Japan. The campus also houses the Indian Space Science Data Centre and the ISRO Navigation Centre, and operates under ISRO own Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network.
