ICEYE is a Finnish company, headquartered in Espoo, that manufactures and operates microsatellites, founded in 2014 by Rafal Modrzewski and Pekka Laurila. It became the global leader in synthetic aperture radar satellite constellations after miniaturizing SAR satellites to under 100 kilograms, enabling imaging through cloud cover and darkness. With additional offices in Poland, Spain, Greece, the United Kingdom and the United States and more than 900 employees, the company had launched 62 satellites and reported 200 million euros in annual revenue by 2025.
