Guodian Gaoke is a Chinese satellite operator developing low Earth orbit satellite systems for Internet of Things applications. Its Tianqi constellation had 41 satellites in orbit as its first phase, with plans filed through the International Telecommunication Union for 640 additional satellites in a second phase and a total constellation of 3,918 satellites. In May 2026, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology granted Guodian Gaoke a two-year pilot licence to offer LEO satellite-based IoT services domestically, describing it as the first such pilot in China intended to help establish economies of scale and an industrial IoT ecosystem. The company has also signed partnership agreements with African and Malaysian operators to deploy Tianqi-based satellite IoT services internationally.
