GMV

GMV is a Spanish private capital business group founded in 1984 and headquartered in Tres Cantos, Spain, employing more than 4,000 people worldwide. It began in the space and defense sectors, with a contract for the European Space Operations Centre marking the start of its growth, and has since diversified into eleven areas including space, aeronautics, defense and security, and intelligent transportation. Its space work includes contracts with the European Space Agency, participation in the Galileo satellite navigation system, and management of Galileo ground control segment, described as the largest Spanish space industry contract as of 2018.
