Galactic Energy

Galactic Energy is a private Chinese aerospace company headquartered in Beijing that develops and operates orbital launch vehicles for commercial satellite launch services. Founded on February 6, 2018, the company operates the solid-fueled Ceres-1 and Ceres-1S rockets and is developing the larger Pallas-1 and Pallas-2 vehicles aimed at reusable launch. In November 2020 Galactic Energy became the second Chinese private company to place a satellite in orbit, and it later became the first Chinese private firm to reach orbit twice. The company raised 200 million dollars in January 2022 to fund reusable launch vehicle development and was continuing to test its CQ-90 engine for the Pallas-2 rocket in early 2026.
