Euroluna was a Danish-Italian-Swiss team led by Palle Haastrup that competed in the Google Lunar X Prize, an international competition challenging privately funded teams to land a rover on the Moon. The team developed ROMIT, a lightweight, roughly 110-pound solar-powered rover engineered with minimal redundant systems. Euroluna ultimately withdrew from the competition before completing a mission.
