The Development and Educational Communication Unit, known as DECU, was an arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation that planned and delivered training in the use of satellite based communication systems for societal needs such as education and healthcare in rural India. It was formed in 1989 and headquartered at the Space Applications Centre in Ahmedabad, and it operated for 34 years before being dissolved in 2023, when its functions merged into the Space Applications Centre.
