China Great Wall Industry Corporation

China Great Wall Industry Corporation, known as CGWIC, was established in 1980 and is the sole commercial organization authorized by the Chinese government to provide commercial launch services, satellite systems and space technology cooperation to customers outside China. Operating as a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, CGWIC was selected in 1985 to handle the import and export of Chinese space technology and products, arranging the launch of foreign spacecraft aboard Chinese rockets on a commercial basis, and it now works as a systems integrator across satellite communications, earth observation and navigation systems for customers around the world.
